Automatic cutout electrical apparatus in which the rotary operating member 2 is connected to the contact holder 3 by a snap-in and toggle mechanism 1, with a trip relay 7. The mechanism 1 consists of a connecting rod 10 followed by a link 13 actuating the contact holder 3 and by a trip lever 17 furnished with a groove 19 in which the common pin 14 of the connecting rod and link slides. A mobile piece 63 with spring 64 is interposed between the relay 7 and a pawl 50 with spring 62 which acts on the trip lever 17. <IMAGE>
