The invention consists of a wall-mounted framework designed for a drawing board (1) or similar object. A frame designed to be screwed onto a wall has a pair of parallel vertical rails holding a vertical, movable carriage (4), which can be fixed at a chosen height. The carriage carries a board holder (8), movable between a vertical storage position and a horizontal working position; in its horizontal position its outer end carries a lockable attachment for a drawing board or similar object, rotatable to a chosen angle from the horizontal. The board holder bearings are at a distance from its inner/lower end near a stop (11) on the carriage, this is inside and above the board holder's axis of rotation so that it prevents the board holder rotating past both the horizontal and the working position. An arrangement of springs (16, 17) takes the weight of the moving parts and holds the board holder in its storage or its working position.<IMAGE> |
