The invention relates to a die-casting die which is evacuated by way of a vacuum control. There have always been difficulties here in avoiding the drawing in of infiltrated air into the die-casting die. The seals composed of heat-resistant material which have hitherto been known for this purpose are problematic, particularly in the case of complex dies, and are subject to very high wear. According to the invention, these disadvantages are eliminated by the fact that a groove 1 which is connected to the vacuum line 2 is placed in the parting plane of the two die halves 3 and 4, to the outside of the die impression 5, and that the groove 7 is routed around the slide(s) 6 and is connected to the groove 1 in the parting plane. <IMAGE>
