PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent ion-selective film by forming an inorg. high molecular complex in an org. solvent from a material which is in a colloidal state in an aq. soln. of FeCl3, AlCl3, etc. and fixing the complex from the soln. prepd. by dissolving such org. solvent and complex in a volatile solvent of the org. high polymer. CONSTITUTION:FeCl3, AlCl3 and ammonium molybdate are added to an alcohol such as n-ocatol or n-decanol or ketone such as acetyl acetone and after through mixing, a polymer soln. of polyvinyl chloride dissolved in tetrahydrofuran is added thereto to prepare a soln. mixture. Such soln. is passed to a glass cylinder to evaporate the tetrahydrofuran, by which the ion-sensitive film fixed with the high molecular hydroxo complex of FeCl3, AlCl3 and ammonium molybdate to the polymer film is obtd. Such sensitive film is cut to a prescribed size and the cut film 3 is adhered to the top end of, for example, a glass tube 1 which is fitted with a polyvinyl chloride tube 2 at one end to obtain an ion- selective electrode. The novel high-performance sensitive film 3 which permits easy formation of the film is thus obtd. |
