PURPOSE:To eliminate the jamming of a medium during running, by providing an auxiliary guide, to which springiness is imparted, to the escape hole provided to the place where the blade of a feed guide is positioned. CONSTITUTION:When a passbook 3 is fed by a lower side feed guide 6, the leading end of a blade 14 is raised upwardly and the lower side feed guide 6 is connected to a common feed guide 11. An auxiliary guide 17 closes an escape hole 16 to form the same surface as a feed guide surface and prevents the passbook from hooking with the escape hole 16. Therefore, the passbook can be smoothly fed. when a slip 7 is fed by an upper side feed guide 10, the blade 14 is operated by a solenoid 15 and the upper side feed guide 10 is communicated with the common feed guide 10. At this time, the leading end of the blade 14 pushes down the auxiliary guide 17 and is received in the escape hole 16. The upper side feed guide 10 and the common feed guide 11 are smoothly communicated and the slip can be smoothly fed. |
