PURPOSE:To obtain lower copy magnification without any great design alteration by drawing the 2nd mirror device out of the hollow in the 1st mirror device where the 2nd mirror device is normally stored, and guiding projection light directly to a drum. CONSTITUTION:The 1st mirror device 42 consisting of a fixed mirror 30 and mirrors 32 and 34 moving in parallel and lens groups 18 and 20 of high and low power are arranged replaceably to obtain desired copy magnification. The 2nd mirror device 50 consisting of mirrors 52, 54, and 56 is normally stored in the hollow of the mirror device 42 and drawn out of the hollow for low magnification; light is projected from the lens group 18 to shorten the conjugate length and guided directly to the photosensitive body 26. Thus, lower copy magnification is obtained without altering the size nor shape of a conventional device greatly.
