Swash plate engine

Swash plate engine, in which two swash plates directed towards one another are arranged on the output shaft. The pistons are arranged cylindrically around the output shaft, their working direction running parallel to the output shaft. The pistons function in opposition to one another so that an opposed piston engine is formed, the pistons being arranged in pairs and the one pair of pistons being used as working pistons and the other as charge pump pistons. The swash plates are suspended on universal joints in the engine housing.
