PURPOSE:To prevent the surface of a recording medium and a cleaning means from being damaged, by counting a prescribed time from a start of a preparatory operation, operating an exposing means when input information is inputted in the course of counting the prescribed time, and operating the exposing means irrespective of the input information when there is no input information. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 101 controls an operation of each part of a copying device, an interruption control circuit 102, a timer 103, ROMs 104, 105, and RAMs 106, 107 are connected to this microprocessor 101, and also an operation display part 111, various detectors 113, and a motor, a high voltage power source, a lamp, etc. 116, and a laser scan motor 312, etc. are connected through an input/output port 110, an input port 112, and an output port 114 and a driving circuit 115, and an input/output port and a motor driving circuit 118, respectively. A prescribed time is counted by the timer 103 from a start of a preparatory operation, and when input information is inputted, the exposure is executed. When there is no input information, the exposure is executed irrespective of the input information. |
