<p>PURPOSE:To provide an increase in the speed of shape straitening, etc. by disposing plural control rolls on the inlet side of work rolls and changing the tension distribution of a rolling material by pressurizing devices provided to the prescribed positions thereof. CONSTITUTION:Rolling pressure is decreased and a sheet thickness can be controlled if tension is applied to the rolling material 1. The plural control rolls 2 are provided on the inlet side of the work rolls 8a, 8b and bearings 3a, 3b, 3c which support freely rotatably the rolls 2 are disposed to both ends thereof and to the intermediate part. The pressurizing devices 4a, 4b, 4c, such as cylinders which press the rolls 2 to the material 1 under the prescribed pressure are attached to the control rolls via said bearings. A calculator 6 adjusts the pressurizing force of the devices 4a, 4b, 4c via a control device 7 when a shape change is detected by a detector 5 on the inlet side of the rolls 8a, 8b. The shape is quickly and surely straightened by the above-mentioned method.</p> |
