The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a lampshade and to a lampshade obtained according to the implementation of the said method. According to the manufacturing method of the present invention, the frame 1 of the lampshade consists of two rings 3 and 4 joined together by tie rods 5 acting as a support for an external skirt 2, and in which the external skirt 2 is fixed to the perimeter of each of the rings 3 and 4 and the skirt, provided with its trimmings, is straightened by placing the bent tie rods 5 between the rings 3 and 4. The invention will find its application especially in the lamp-fittings industry and in domestic applications. <IMAGE>
