PURPOSE:To discharge documents in the same order of pages as copy sheets are put in order by bringing scoop-up means into contact with a document table to scoop up a document, and reversing the document to be discharge with an image surface thereof up in case of a sheet document. CONSTITUTION:In case of a sheet document, a sheet document feeder 2 is connected to a main body apparatus 1 and stopped, and a sheet document is fed from the sheet document feeder 2 into a reciprocating document table 3. When the document table 3 is moved in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the document table 3 for reading an image, scoop-up means 85 for scooping up the document after reading from the transparent document table 3 is brought into contact with the document table 3, and the document is reversed to be sequentially discharged with an image surface thereof up onto a paper discharge tray 6. That is, if the main body apparatus 1 is a copying machine, the documents are discharged in the same order of pages as the copy sheets are sequentially discharged onto a copy tray 21, with an image surface up. |
