<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate quality control from the aspect of inspection, by transferring a columnar body by using a posture converting roller provided with a notch part so that the columnar body received in a horizontal state is automatically converted to an erected posture state and that received in an erected state to a horizontal posture state. CONSTITUTION:Posture converting rollers 12 are provided between drive rollers 3 so as to be placed on drive rillers 3 and each of them is formed by providing a notch part to a short column restricted by two boundary surfaces 14, 15 which are mutually parallel to the axial direction thereof the crossing at a blunt angle. Further, a groove 17, which passes a push-up member 22, being parallel to both ends of the short column and reaching the outer periphery of the short column from one boundary surface 14 is formed to the short column. A rotary drive mechanism is constituted of a cylinder mechanism 1, a rack 9, the drive rollers 3, the gear parts 20 of the posture converting rollers 12. When a columnar body 30 is received in an errected state by the posture converting rollers 12 and the rack 9 is moved to the direction B, the posture converting rollers 12 are rotated by 90 deg. to the direction shown by the arrow E and the columnar body 30 on the boundary surface 15 is transferred onto the other boundary surface 14.</p> |
