PURPOSE:To reduce a sectional area without increasing a magnetic resistance and an eddy current loss by employing a magnetic rail of an attracting magnetic levitating train as trapezoidal or quadrant sector-shaped laminated core that the imaginary vertex is substantially at a right angle. CONSTITUTION:Supporting and guiding magnetic rail 70 is provided along a traveling direction at both sides of a rail 9 so that N-poles and S-poles are sequentially aligned along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle at both sides of the vehicle to be laterally symmetrical to provide salient-pole type supporting electromagnets 5 and guide electromagnets 6. The rail 70 is formed as a laminated core in which ferromagnetic plates such as iron are bonded, for example, in a trapezoidal shape in such a manner that the top vertex of a triangle contacted externally with the trapezoid becomes a right angle, and a trapezoidal bottom is closely mounted on connectors 9a, 9b formed to have, for example, 45 deg. at the right and left corners of the rail 9. Thus, a magnetic rail which has low magnetic resistance and generates less eddy current loss is obtained. |
