CHEWABLE TABLET CONTAINING COLLAGEN PEPTIDE AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A collagen peptide-containing chewable tablet which is prevented from adhering to the teeth; and a process for producing the tablet. The chewable tablet comprises (A) collagen peptide, (B) an emulsifying agent having an HLB of 1-7, and (C) at least one additive selected from the group consisting of a powdery soybean protein concentrate, crystalline cellulose, and gelatinized starch. The process for producing the chewable tablet comprises mixing an emulsifying agent having an HLB of 1-7 with a pregranulated material and then tableting the mixture.
