PURPOSE:To prepare easily and in high accuracy a curable powder coating compound capable of economizing baking time and baking energy which are required after it is applied to various devices and various products, by including a process wherein components are uniformly blended and a process wherein the previously blended components are lagged and aged at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:For example, an acrylic resin is blended with a curing agent (e.g., dodecanedicarboxylic acid, etc.), etc. and uniformly blended by melt blending method. The prepared flaky, pelletized, granular or powdery melt blend is lagged and aged at 40-80 deg.C, to give the desired powder coating compound.
