A tool track comprising a number of rail sections suspended after each other (10, 11, 12), whose ends are connected with each other and which have a U- shaped cross-section with two legs and an intermediate body. The legs free edges are turned downward and equipped with protruding against each other, essentially horizontal flanges, which form a transport track for a cart. The outer surface of each track body section is equipped with a track, which runs along the section in its longitudinal direction. In this track a holder can be used for a hanging device (14, 15, 16) and slid along the track section, so that the hanging device can be used in a suitable location. At each joint between two track sections (10-11, 11-12) a casing is set up, which also has a U-shaped cross-section with its opening turned downward and which connects the ends lying next to each other on the track sections. The casing is equipped with a number of holes, which are placed over the track in the track sections, so that the casing can be connected with the ends of the track section by means of a device, which is fixed into the track in the track sections. The tool track is designed to be hung up on a ceiling or on a beam construction (13) in order to form a transport track for a cart, which is load-bearing.<IMAGE> |
