PURPOSE:To enable a recorded image to be shaply observed through both of reflected and transmitted lights by forming on one of the surfaces of a support an auxiliary layer having spectral reflectance and spectral transmittance not below each prescribed value in a specified wavelength region. CONSTITUTION:The first silver halide photosensitive layer 3, the photographic auxiliary layer 2, and the second silver halide photosensitive layer 1 are formed on the surface of the transparent support 4 of a polyester film or the like in this order of the first layer 1 is laminated on the layer 2 formed on the support 4 and the second layer 3 is formed on the reverse side of the support 4. The auxiliary layer 2 is allowed to have a spectral reflectance of >=20% in the range of 410-700nm wavelengths and a spectral transmittance of >=5% in said region by forming the layer 2 made of a hydrophilic colloid contg. a white pigment dispersed into it. As a result, the recorded image can be made sharply observable with both of reflected or transmitted lights.
