PURPOSE:To obtain a heat developable photosensitive material superior in photosensitivity, gradation, and image retentivity, and not causing color turbidity even in the case of layer lamination by incorporating dye donor a copolymer of a dye-releasing compd. having a polymerizable double bond and N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone. CONSTITUTION:The heat developable photosensitive material having color developing and dye-releasing performances capable of forming a sharp color image can be obtained by forming on a support a photographic constituent layer contg., together with photosensitive silver halide, an org. silver salt, a reducing agent, and a binder, a copolymer or N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and a dye-releasing compd. exemplified by formula II, and represented by general formula I in which R is H or CH3; J is -O-, a divalent org. group, or absent, P is divalent org. group -O-, -S-, Y is a bivalent or tervalent org. alkylene or arylene group or an N- Cont hetero-cyclic group; m, n are each 0 or 1; and Cp is a dye donor residue. |
