PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a system by providing an auxiliary storage subsystem using a magnetic disk device between semiconductor storage devices using the semiconductor storage element of a semiconductor storage system, and sending and receiving a data between both the semiconductor storage devices by its subsystem. CONSTITUTION:Semiconductor storage devices 20, 25 constituted of port circuits 21, 26, semiconductor storage element controlling circuits 22, 27, and semiconductor storage elements 23, 28, respectively, are connected to a storage control device 10 of a semiconductor storage system 2 for receiving an instruction from a channel 1. Magnetic disk control devices 31, 33 of an auxiliary storage subsystem 30 are connected to the circuits 22, 27 of each device 20, 25, and pairs of magnetic disk devices 32, 35 and 34, 35 are connected to the devices 31, 33, respectively. In such a state, a data is sent and received between the storage elements 23, 28 of each device 20, 25, and the devices 32, 35 and 34, 35 by the system 30, the data stored in the storage elements 23, 28 is saved to the device 35, so that it can be re-recorded to the storage elements 23, 28, and the performance and reliability of the system 2 are improved. |
