PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an analyzer in which a labeled oligonucleotide is detected by a labeled chromophore or a fluorescent coloring agent by a method wherein the labeled oligonucleotide is separated with high degree according to its size. SOLUTION: Dideoxy sequencing reactions are combined partly so as to be filled into a polyacrlamide gel column 10 from a storage tank 12. In this case, relative amounts of four different kinds of reaction products in a mixture are adjusted in such a way that the nearly same fluorescent or absorbent signal intensity is given from dyestuff/DNA combined substances is given, and the difference in a dyestuff absorption coefficient, a dyestuff fluorescece yield and a detector sensitity is compensated. A high voltage is applied to the filled column 10, and a labeling DNA fragment in a gel is electrophoresed. Then, the labeling DNA fragment in which the length of only an oligonucleotide is different is separated in a gel matrix. Then, bands of DNA are separated from each other at the bottom part of the column 10 or near it so as to pass a detector 14. The detector 14 detects fluorescent or coloring bands of DNA in the gel so as to decide its color, and an oligonucleotide corresponding to them is detected. |
