PURPOSE:To attain a test during the on-line execution by supplying simulation data to a fault processor and running and confirming an on-line operation program, then restoring a dual system. CONSTITUTION:A surviving host device 2 issures a command for start of test to a faulty host device 1 and an MPU at the waiting side of a terminal controller 3. A terminal simulator is incorporated previously to the MPU to simulate a terminal action and to sale artificially the voting tickets to an artificial race. Then this simulator is protected by a key word, and this key word is used to start the simulator. Then an operation program of the device 3 is run to send data to the device 1. The device 1 receives the data obtained from the artificial race from the controller 3 by a real operation program and totalizes them. Then the end of the test is informed to the device 2 after a fixed period of time. |
