PURPOSE:To eliminate simultaneously frame shading and distortion due to deflection by applying a distortion correcting voltage to a vertical deflection voltage fed to a deflection system being a generating source of the frame shading so as to give distortion to the vertical deflection voltage. CONSTITUTION:A sawtooth waveform voltage generated by sawtooth wave generating circuits 11, 13 and a parabolic waveform voltage generated in a parabolic waveform generating circuit 12 are fed to a distortion correcting waveform generating circuit 14. Since an output terminal of the distortion correcting waveform generating circuit 14 is connected to a connecting point between a sawtooth wave generating circuit 10 and an amplifier circuit 15, the distortion correcting waveform voltage outputted from the distortion correcting waveform generating circuit 14 is superimposed on the sawtooth waveform voltage outputted from the sawtooth waveform generating circuit 10 and the result is fed to the amplifier circuit 15. An output of the amplifier circuit 15 is amplified to a prescribed level by the drive circuit 16 and fed to a deflection yoke as the vertical deflection voltage. |
