PURPOSE:To ensure the assured communication even in case a partial fault occurs with a communication equipment containing plural transmission/reception system of different communication systems, by testing these transmission/reception sytems by a main control means via each control means and selecting the normal transmission/reception sytem according to the results of said test to perform communication. CONSTITUTION:A G3 MODEM4, a G2 MODEM5 and a total counter 6 are controlled independently of each other by microprocessors 4a-6a, and these microprocessors are controlled by a main processor 8 which controls totally a communication equipment. A memory 11 storing the transmission/reception data or control programs is connected to the processor 8. Then the processor 8 checks those processors 4a-6a and controls the transmission/reception action so as to use a normal unit at all times. In other words, the working of each MODEM is tested via those peripheral processors 4a-6a. |
