摘要 PURPOSE:To minimize entire resistance of coil by providing the weld-connecting portion to the area where the magnetic field is lowest and thereby keeping the superconductive condition at the area near the welding portion on the occasion of arranging a plurality of superconductive coils on the same axis and connecting such superconductive coils at the lead wires with the welding process. CONSTITUTION:When a current 10A is applied to a coil, a magnetic field of 0.5T is generated on the Y axis. In this case, distribution of magnetic field in the area near the coil reaches about 1.2T at the magnetic field inside the main coil 3 and sub-coils 4, 5. Meanwhile, the magnetic field at the external diameter side (near the point A) of main coil 3 is only about 0.03T. Therefore, the connecting portion 6 connected by welding is arranged at the external diameter side of the main coil, as the area where the magnetic field generated by the main coil 3 and subcoils 4, 5 is minimized. In case the weld-connecting portion 6 is arranged at the external diameter side of main coil 6, the experience magnetic field of superconductive lead wire of which H-Ic characteristic is deteriorated by welding is about 0.03T. In this case, since a current supplied is 10A, the field intensity H=0.03T and I=10A at the designed point and sufficient superconductive characteristic can be obtained even after deterioration.
