The injection unit has an air volume measuring system and a warm running control. This is connected via a pressure conduit to the inlet manifold of the engine and via a control conduit to a fuel volume divider of a mixture control. The underpressure in the induction manifold is in constant active connection with a pressure jump switch (7). This operates a control valve (9). The switch is located in a bypass (8) between the suction tube (5) and the control valve.
