The block 4 may be fitted in a caravan. It is articulated on the upper rim of a hatch 5 itself articulated by its lower edge to the lower edge of an opening in the wall of the caravan. The block may thus take on a service position towards the outside on the open hatch 5, another service position towards the inside with support on the upright members 2 of a storage box, and a vertical storage position when the box 2 and the hatch 5 are closed.
