PURPOSE:To obtain an electron gun with no thermal-destruction and excellent practicability, by arranging a resistor supplying electrode potential around an electrode in helical or cylindrical form. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 3 is arranged helically in a form of surrounding an electrode. One end of the resistor 3 is fixed by being connected to a convergence electrode 17 through a connecting element 50, and the other end is fixed by being connected to a stem-pin 20 by a connecting element 51 and besides is connected to a variable resistor 52 externally. Terminals 53, 54 and 55 are provided at three appropriate points on the intermediate portion of the resistor 3 and connected to the fifth grid 15, the fourth grid 14 and the third grid 13 through connecting elements 56, 57 and 58 respectively. Thereby, the resistor comes to be able to hold a sufficient surface area and therefore, destruction thereof by heat generation can be prevented. |
