PURPOSE:To enable an accurate and quick measurement by a method wherein the name and the quantity of an object to be measured is memorized into a computer and an alarming means is operated when a measured value almost coincides with the quantity to be measured of the object. CONSTITUTION:When a user specifies the name of an object to be measured from a keyboard 4 of a terminal 2, the quantity to be measured of the object memorized in a computer is shown on a display panel 5 of the terminal 2. After the tare weight is subtracted beforehand, the object is measured until the value shown on the display panel 5 almost coincides with the display value of a display panel 6 of a measuring device. When the display value on the display panel 6 of the measuring device coincides with the display value on the display panel 5, it is announced by a tone with a device 7 while a label is automatically printed and issued.
