PURPOSE:To classify and display a radar video signal in color corresponding to their amplitude levels by sending color-classified output signals of an amplitude color converting circuit to a color cathode-ray tube display device. CONSTITUTION:A PPI (Plan Position Indication) scanning type radar motion picture signal is converted into a TV scanning type radar video signal 5 through a scanning converter 1. Then, display signals 6, 7, and 7 of preset green, blue, and red corresponding to the amplitude are sent to the color cathode-ray tube display device 3. Therefore, the signal 5 is displayed on the display device 3 while its level is indicated by the colors, and the visibility is improved. |
