发明名称 ELECTRODE FOR FUEL CELL AND ITS MANUFACTURE AND FUEL CELL USING THIS ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a fuel cell electrode whose cell performance is higher than an electrode prepared by spreading catalytic active element on porous conductive substrate by forming an electrode by carrying a catalyst between layers of layer crystal of graphite. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell electrode is fabricated by carrying a catalytic element between layers of layer crystal of graphite. The electrode is obtained in such a manner that a graphite intercalation compound comprising a donor compound is used as an original substance, and intercalation material is ion-exchanged with an ionized catalytic active element, or ionized catalytic active element in graphite is reduced with electron from carbon steel. The electrode carrying a catalytic active element by ion-exchange or reducing reaction by using graphite intercalation compound as original material has small particle size and its better dispersion ability of catalytic active element compared with an electrode prepared by spreading electrode catalyst on a conductive substrate with a binder.
