PURPOSE:To easily confirm the neutral position in a speed change gear having plural neutral positions by generating a signal for indicating that the speed change gear is normal on detecting that the gear can be controlled to take all neutral positions. CONSTITUTION:A test circuit 2 is adapted to send out a signal for controlling a speed change gear to take a neutral position N1 according to the feed of the first detection signal. A control circuit 4 is adapted to send out a signal to a power plant 1 for controlling the speed change gear to take the neutral position N1 and feed a signal indicating the neutral position to a detector. By the coincidence of both signals sent to the detector 5 from the power plant 1 and the control circuit 4, it is detected that the speed change gear of the power plant has been controlled to take the designated neutral position. The test circuit 2 is adapted to control over the neutral positions N1-N3, and when detection signals are obtained at all the positions, a lamp 6c is lighted to annunciate the completion of diagnosis. |
