PURPOSE:To reduce energy consumption and to simplify the structure by feeding the fluid delivered through a control cylinder coupled to a steering mechanism to a cylinder system for steering assist coupled to a brake system. CONSTITUTION:Upon right turn of steering wheel 11, a rod 13 will move to the left thus to rotate a pair of wheels 15a, 15b to the right. Here, the piston 17 of control cylinder 16 will also move to the left thus to discharge the pressure oil from the left cylinder chamber 16a. Said pressure oil is fed to steering assist cylinder system 27a for the right wheel. Consequently, a pair of brake shoes 22a, 23a are enlarged to function the brake. As a result, the rotary speed of the right wheel will drop to produce such force as turning the body to the right. Consequently, desired turning is achieved through small steering force. |
