The invention relates to a multi-stage collector for electron beam tubes. It is proposed to produce the electrodes (2) of the collector from a metal coating having three layers or five layers. The three-layer coating consists of aluminium coatings which are applied on both sides onto an iron coating. The five-layer coating consists of iron coatings which are applied on both sides onto a copper coating, and of aluminium coatings which are applied thereto. A multi-stage collector according to the invention is used in the case of high-power travelling-wave tubes, especially tubes used on board satellites. <IMAGE>
