发明名称 PINCH ROLLER PRESSING MECHANISM FOR THERMAL TRANSFER TYPE PRINTER
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a printing material on a platen from being levitated, prevent staggering in printing from occurring and prevent the printing material from being wrinkled, by a construction wherein a lever is fitted to a shaft for a pinch roller, and is continuedly pressed even after printing. CONSTITUTION:The lever 7 is fitted to the pinch roller shaft, and is constantly energized in the direction of an arrow by a spring 8, whereby the pinch roller 5 constantly pinches the printing material 1 in coopertion with a capstan 6. After printing is completed, the pinch roller 5 pressed against the capstan 6 with a strong force by driving a solenoid 9 tends to separate from the capstan 6 because of turning-OFF of the solenoid 9, but a weak force exerted by the spring 8 causes the pinch roller 5 and the capstan 6 to continue pinching the printing material 1 therebetween, and the material 1 remains in contact with a platen 2. Accordingly, printing lines can be prevented from being staggered, accuracy in registration of colors in multicolor printing can be enhanced, and the paper can be prevented from being wrinkled.
