PURPOSE:A shampoo composition of low irritation that contains betain, specific anionic surfactant mixture and nonionic surfactant, thus permiting not only infants and adults with sensitive skins but also patients with dermatopathies to use shampoo. CONSTITUTION:The objective shampoo is composed of (A) 1-12wt% of betain, (B) as anionic surfactants, B1: 3-30wt% of laurylsulfate triethanolamine and B2: 1-10wt% of at least one selected from (i) alkylsulfate alkali metal salt, N-acylaminoacids and their salts and polyoxyethylenealkylether sulfate salts or (ii) a mixture of N-acrylaminoacid or salt or polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate salt with an alkylsulfate alkali metal salt and (C) 1-36wt% of a nonionic surfactant selected from fatty acid akylol amide, water-soluble polyoxyethylene derivatives. The proportion of A:B:C is preferably 1:3:0.6 or 1:1:2-3. |
