PURPOSE:To suppress vibrations of the outer periphery of a magnetic drum without harming the assembling property of a magnetic encoder, by suppressing the vibration of the outer periphery of the assembled magnetic drum by injecting and hardening a liquid interposing material in the engaging section of the magnetic drum and a shaft. CONSTITUTION:After a magnetic drum 1 is inserted into a shaft 5 a liquid resin 8 is injected into and penetrated throughout their engaging section. When the magnetic drum 1 is rotated and the resin 8 penetrates throughout the whole peripheral surface of the shaft 5, the drum 1 is set to a condition as if it is floated in the resin 8 and the axis of the shaft 5 is aligned with that of the inner diameter of the drum 1. Thereafter, after they are positioned in the axial direction and the magnetic drum 1 is faced to a magnetic sensor, the resin 8 is hardened and a screw 6 is tightened. Thus the drum 1 and shaft 5 are completely fixed. |
