PURPOSE:To enable a small-sized burner to be made and improve an expansion of a range of input control of the burner by a method wherein air sucked by a blower is caused to pass around a combustion cylinder arranged around the burner. CONSTITUTION:Fuel gas injected into a throat 20 is mixed with a primary air, injected as shown by arrows from meshes of a burner 12, ignited by a plug 24 and burned, resulting in heating the burner 12. In turn, convection air is sucked into a duct 29 under action of a blower 25, passes through a space between a combustion cylinder 13 and a duct 29, is mixed with combustion gas from an outlet 14 to make hot air and then is discharged out of the duct 29. In this way, a suction capability of the primary air is improved by the suction force generated in case of performing an operation of the blower 25, a specified rate of primary air can be attained under a small flame hole area of the burner and at the same time it becomes possible to decrease a temperature of the burner 12.
