PURPOSE:To separate gas from three-phase streams of solid, gas and liquid and furthermore to recover the solid by providing a screen for passing water to an inner cylinder and a sealing board having an air vent hole. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase stream high in flow velocity is introduced to the tangential direction of the first inner cylinder 22 from an inlet nozzle 23 to give revolution stream and separated to gas and liquid at this time. Then, one part of the liquid is passed through a screen 25 of the second inner cylinder 24 and discharged from an overflow pipe 32 provided to the lower part of a separator main body 21. The two-phase stream of the solid and the remaining liquid is passed through the third inner cylinder 26, discharged from a lower end outlet 34 and recovered. The gas is passed through a demister provided to the upper part of an intermediate cylinder 28 via the cylinder 28 provided to the first inner cylinder 22 and the mist is removed and the gas is discharged from a silencer 36. One part of said gas discharged from the screen 25 is discharged from an air vent hole 30 provided to a sealing board 29.
