<p>The equipment discharges sewage from a vessel lying at the quayside, e.g. a houseboat, by means of a suction system on the quay. There is a permanent pipe connection between the sewage tank in the houseboat etc. and the quay, the connecting portion between them being of concertina type. Its length is such that under the effect of the suction it shortens into an approximately straight run.</p> |
