PURPOSE:To provide a poultice usable also as a bandage, having air-permeability as well as the capability of stably keeping the diseases part, and effective to the remedy of sprain and bruise, by applying the poultice drug to a substrate having a number of mesh pores and stretchable along longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:For example, the poultice drug layer 2 is applied to the surface of a longitudinally stretchable substrate 1 having a number of pores of proper mesh, and is coated with a release film 2 to keep the adhesivity of the poultice layer. The obtained laminate is slit to the width of a bandage to obtain the objective product. It is supplied in a continuous form having a proper length without cutting into separate pieces. The substrate is made of a combined yarn of rayon and polyester, and a stretchable nonwoven cloth is most suitable in veiw of the drug-holding performance and the feeling to the skin. The width of the bandage is determined with reference to the official standard of the width of bandage. It has higher air-permeability and stretchability than conventional poultice, and has excellent effect to mitigate the local inflammation.
