PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a ROM by storing the combination of roots defined by factors and detecting their coincidence in a derivation unit of the root of a quardratic equation on a galore body. CONSTITUTION:In the derivation unit for finding out the root of a quardrac equation x<2>sigma1, x+sigma2 on the galore body, data in a string expressed by alpha<11> are outputted by a decoder 21a in a ROM21. Said output is made to coincide with sigma1 by a coincidence detector 22, but because sigma1 is alpha<3>, only the output indicated by an arrow 22a is obtained. Therefore, a ROM23 outputs alpha<4> to P132 as one root. The other root P233 is obtained as alpha<4>+alpha<3>=alpha<7> by an adder 24. |
