PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of control of fuel of a slow system by a construction wherein a fuel injection valve and a supercharger are provided on the upstream side of a throttle valve, a slow-system fuel passage communicating with the downstream side of the throttle valve is made to branch off from a passage leading from a fuel pressure regulator to a fuel tank, and a valve closed when charged with a high load is provided in said fuel passage. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection valve 25 and a supercharger 55 are provided on the upstream side of a throttle valve 23 of an intake passage 21, and a fuel pressure regulator 28 for regulating the pressure of fuel supplied from the injection valve 25 is provided thereon. A slow-system fuel passage 34 communicating with an intake passage on the downstream side of the throttle valve 23 is made to branch off from the middle of a passage 27b for returning a low-pressure fuel after pressure regulation to a fuel tank 32, and a solenoid-operated valve 36 is provided in the passage 34. The valve 36 is closed by a control circuit 26 when an engine load exceeds a set value. By this constitution, the accuracy of control of a slow-system fuel is increased and the slow-system fuel passage is interrupted at the time of a high load, which enables the prevention of the backflow of a pressurized air from the supercharger onto the side of a low-pressure fuel. |
