PURPOSE:To shorten waiting time by informing a user of ignitable timing at an early stage, by providing a timer device making an alarming device actuate at the earlier time than the time to be released by a bimetal clamp. CONSTITUTION:When a knob 6 of a lighter body 2 is kept pressing in against a return spring 10 a heat unit case 12 is connected with a bimetal clamp 5 and the lighter body 2 is connected with the inside of a case body for holding. Then under this state the bimetal clamp 5 becoming of a contact point 20 and the heating unit case 12 are connected with each other and a heating wire 14 is heated by electrifying the heating wire 14. Then when the heating wire 14 arrives at a fixed temperature (about 1,200 deg.C), the connection of the bimetal clamp 5 with the heating unit case 12 is released by deforming the bimetal clamp 5. On the one hand, a light emitting diode 3 as an alarming device is fixed to a through hole 16 formed on a knob 6 in a state exposing the surface part and controlled by a timer device 4 so that the light emitting diode 3 emits a light when the temperature of the heating wire 14 has become of the practically ignitable temperature (about 400 deg.C). |
