PURPOSE:The titled emulsion based adhesive, consisting of main agent component of an anonic aqueous emulsion having reactivity with epoxy groups and a specific curing agent component, having improved initial adhesive power and water and heat resistance with time, and useful for wood and paper. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous dispersed two-pack type adhesive obtained by incorporating (A) a main agent component of an anionic aqueous emulsion having reactivity with epoxy groups with (B) a curing agent which is a mixture of (i) an aqueous solution of a multivalent metal salt, e.g. aluminum chloride, with (ii) a compound containing the epoxy groups, e.g. glycerol diglycidyl ether. Preferably, the component (A) is an acrylic emulsion obtained by emulsion polymerizing a monomeric mixture, consisting essentially of an acrylic ester, and containing 0.1-10wt% carboxyl group-containing monomer in the presence of an anionic surfactant.
