PURPOSE:To keep and maintain a measurement precision easily by providing a cover, which covers the driving machine side of a revolving shaft attached to the upper end of a cylinder, and a supply device which supplies a washing liquid to the outside surface of the revolving shaft. CONSTITUTION:A viscometer has a cover 21, which covers a driving part 1 of a revolving shaft 2 attached to a part near the upper end of a cylinder 4, and a ring-shaped shower tube 24 which is arranged under the cover 21 around said revolving shaft 2, and the shower tube 24 is provided with nozzle holes 25. A liquid is supplied to this shower tube 24 through a liquid supply tube 26. A seal gas is supplied to the cover 21 from the external through a piping 22, and penetration of cake mist 6 to the cover 21 is prevented by its fluid pressure, and thus, sticking and solidification of cake mist are prevented, and the measurement precision is kept. |
