PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition of significantly improved adhesivity even without elimination of the residual modifier, by incorporating metal-substituted zeolite in an unsaturated carboxylic acid (anhydride)-modified polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) a modified polyolefin derived from grafting to the original polyolefin 0.01-5 (pref. 0.01-2) wt%, based on the final composition, of at least one sort of unsaturated carboxylic acid (anhydride) pref. maleic anhydride or a plyolefin blended with said modified polyolefin, with (B) 0.03-10 (pref. 0.1-5) wt%, based on the final composition, of metal-substituted zeolite pref. A- or X-type zeolite substituted with metal(s) belonging to the II and/or IV group(s) in the periodic table (e.g. Mg, Ca, Zn, etc.). The grafting for the component (A) is preferably performed by incorporating an organic peroxide in a blend of polyolefin and modifier followed by kneading under a molten state at 170-250 deg.C for 1-10min in an extruder.
