PURPOSE:To lengthen heat-resistant life in an oxidizing atmosphere at 1,300 deg.C or higher by joining a member consisting of Nisil with a temperature measuring junction for a thermocouple composed of Nicrosil-Nisil. CONSTITUTION:A member consisting of Nisil is joined with a temperature measuring junction section for a Nicrosil-Nisil thermocouple through welding or contact bonding or the like. Both a member such as Nicrosil-Nisil 1 and the member such as a tabular small piece 41 composed of Nicrosil-Nisil 1 and Nisil and both the Nisil 2 and the small piece 41 are connected by long welding sections 51, 52 parallel in the axial direction, and a temperature measuring junction is formed by the welding section 51. When the temperature measuring junction is shaped in this manner, separating disconnection is difficult to be generated even when alloy layers are dissolved because the area of the boundary between the alloy layers is large and the small picece 41 is held by Nisil 2. The welding section 51 with Nicrosil 1 of the member 41 may not be extended over the whole length in the axial direction and may be welded partially. |
