PURPOSE:To provide an X-ray television set causing no picture recognition error by storing a TV monitor raster angle and scan direction during picture display when said television set stores, sending to the TV monitor a signal showing a scan direction at the time of storage as well as a reproduction picture signal at the time of picture reproduction and automatically setting said signals at the TV monitor raster angle. CONSTITUTION:An operator operates a picture rotating switch 12 while watching a TV monitor 8 to obtain a formal picture of no inclination. A raster angle thus set is sent through a picture rotating circuit 13 to a picture storage circuit 7 and then stored together with an image signal memory of a picture 2a being displayed. To reproduce the picture, a synthesized video signal of the reproduced picture image signal with a signal indicating its scan direction X is sent to the TV monitor 8 from a picture storage circuit 7 and both displayed as mentioned previously, and the signal denoting the pre-stored raster angle is sent to the circuit 13.
