PURPOSE:To secure the satisfactory magnetization of media by attaching a material of high saturated magnetic flux density to the butting face of a read/ write head gap part. CONSTITUTION:A read/write gap is formed by the ferrite 1 held by a protection plate 3 made of TiC. A CoZr amorphous alloy is sputtered at the read/write part in its depth direction with about 5mum thickness. Thus a sputtered film 2 of amorphous is formed, and a material of large Bs is used at the gap part only. This amorphous alloy has the characteristics of mu=2,000(1MHz) or so with the Bs set at about 110,000. |
