PURPOSE:To increase the number of tasks possible for simultaneous management for the entire system by connecting multi-task control elements of required number in cascade depending on the number of tasks. CONSTITUTION:An interruption enable input (IEI) terminal and an interruption enable output (IEO) terminal are provided to the multi-task control elements 11- 1m to control the interruption among the elements. Then a lower-order element enable outut (LEO) terminal signal at the pre-stage of the multi-task control elements and an inverted signal of the IEO terminal signal are fed to an NOR gate, this output is inputted to the IEI terminal of the next stage and the control elements 11-1m are connected in cascade. Moreover, each multi-task control element has a scheduling function of the task, a synchronism communication function between tasks under the management of the same control element and a clock function.
